Job applications
When you submit a job application, we receive your name, contact details, location and job preferences, availability, experience and any résumé you attach. We use this information to review your application and contact you about employment with the JLaw family of businesses. Relevant details may be shared with the hiring team at the businesses you select.
Applications are processed by our website host, Vercel, and sent to our hiring inbox through EmailJS and the connected email service. Résumés are sent as email attachments; the website does not publish them or create public download links. Application details are not saved in your browser by our site code. Our email provider and hiring inbox retain messages according to their settings and our recruitment needs.
Please share only information relevant to your application. Do not include a social insurance number, banking information or identification documents. Contact us using the details below to ask about access, corrections or deletion. See EmailJS’s privacy policy for its handling of email data.
Contacting JLaw
The contact form prepares an email draft using the name, email address, topic and message you enter. It does not upload these fields to a website server or send an email automatically. You choose whether to send the draft from your email app.
If you send an email, the recipient receives your message, email address and any attachments you include. Share only the information needed for your inquiry; please do not include payment details or other sensitive information.
Browsing this website
This website does not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers or cookies set by our site code. Directory searches and filters run in your browser; the selected filters appear in the page URL so you can bookmark or share them.
The website is hosted by Vercel. When your browser requests a page or asset, hosting systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, requested URL and request time to deliver and secure the website. See Vercel’s privacy policy.
Fonts and external services
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google to request font files. See Google Fonts’ privacy information.
Business websites and Google Maps open only when you follow their links. Those services have their own privacy practices. The email app and email provider you use also handle your draft and any message you send under their own policies.
Questions about your information
Use the general contact details for privacy questions or requests about information you have sent to JLaw. For information sent directly to an individual business, contact that business through our directory.
Scope and updates
This notice covers this website. It does not describe every in-person, employment or customer-service practice of the individual businesses. We will update this page if the website’s handling of information changes.
